The agents of Lyon star Rayan Cherki have reportedly approached Manchester United and Liverpool over a possible summer move.

While Tottenham and Manchester City have also been credited with interest in Cherki, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, they may be behind United and Liverpool in this transfer race if his agents have been in contact. The report adds that Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on him.
This season, Cherki, whose contract runs until 2026, has scored 12 goals and bagged 19 assists in 43 appearances for Lyon — who sit seventh in the French top-flight.
Cherki, who was close to joining Borussia Dortmund in January but that move eventually fell through, may play his last game for Lyon when they take on Angers on Saturday in the final match of the Ligue 1 season.
