That silky footwork has persuaded Chelsea to part with as much as £700k to sign the young man, with a bid being considered.

City hoped to have the inside track, as Camden's younger brother Astin is already on the book at the club's academy. Wherever Cameron ends up, he will have a great chance of making it as a pro, as City and Chelsea's academies are widely regarded as the best in the country.
The £700,000 fee would represent the highest fee ever paid for a 13-year-old. In 2017, City paid Southend United a reported £175,000 for Finley Burns. Now 21-years-old, the defender has yet to make a first team performance for the Sky Blues, and has just completed a loan spell at Hull City in the Championship.
Both Chelsea and City will hope to secure a deal. Schaper, of course, is years away from making a first-team debut.
